Module 6: Developing a whole setting approach to inclusion

So you have done it!  You are almost at the end of the course. This final module aims to bring everything you have learned together to help you develop a culture of inclusion.

So far, we have talked about:

  • What helps us to feel included
  • Exploring SEND in the wraparound sector
  • Welcoming all children and young people
  • The voice of the child / young person
  • Partnership working and information sharing

In this final module we are going to think about:

  • Understanding the aims of your wraparound setting and the importance of inclusion.
  • Thinking  about physical and emotional safety and its links to safeguarding.
  • How the culture of your setting can positively support inclusion
  • Monitoring the impact of changes in your provision.
